The Maiella (or Majella) mountains are to the north west of the property, hidden from view by the hills that surround the west side. However they are only a short drive away and you can explore the amazing scenery and flora and fauna or you can also go to Gran Sasso or the Parco Nazionale d'Abruzzo, Lazio e Molise for more very beautiful scenery.
